Goldy the Little Fish
Deep under the waves, in a quiet corner of the sea, lived a little fish named Goldy. She was small and shiny, with scales that sparkled like tiny stars.
Goldy loved swimming through the coral reef. She greeted sleepy seahorses, waved to turtles, and played hide-and-seek with glowing jellyfish.
But as the ocean began to get darker, the sea slowed down. The water rocked back and forth like a cradle.
“Goldy,” called a gentle voice from a nearby shell, “it’s getting late. Time to rest.”
“I’m not sleepy yet,” Goldy whispered, though she felt her fins moving slower.
She swam past the rocks and saw the moonlight shining through the water. It looked like a soft ribbon dancing on the ocean floor.
Goldy followed the light and saw her ocean friends finding their bedtime spots.
The starfish were curled on warm rocks.
The dolphins were floating still, their eyes gently closed.
Goldy found a small coral bed shaped like a sea flower. She snuggled inside.
The waves whispered above her, “Shhh… sleep now, little one.”
Goldy gave a tiny sigh and let her body float with the sea.
In her dreams, she swam with glowing whales and flew through bubbles that sang like lullabies.
Moral: The sea sings us to sleep when we listen to its quiet song
