Starhoof and the Moonlight Race
Once upon a time, in a quiet valley full of stars, lived a shiny white horse named Starhoof. He had a special secret. When the moon was big and round, Starhoof could run on moonbeams and fly across the night sky.
One night, a small owl named Olive looked up at him and said,
“Can I fly with you in the moonlight?”
Starhoof smiled. “Yes,” he said kindly. “Hold on to my mane.”
With a soft sound, they flew up into the sky. Starhoof ran on glowing moonlight, and Olive flapped her wings beside him.
They played with fireflies and laughed as they raced a shooting star. The sky was quiet and full of magic.
But soon, the moon began to go down.
“It’s time to go home,” said Starhoof. “Dreams only last until morning.”
They came back to the ground. The grass was cool, and the stars twinkled above.
“Thank you for the best night ever,” said Olive with a yawn.
Starhoof nodded. “If you dream under the moon, I’ll be there.”
Then everything was quiet again.
Moral: Dreams and friends can take us anywhere—even to the stars.
