Lila and the Little Dragon
A sweet and magical bedtime story
One sunny evening, Lila was picking flowers in her garden.
Suddenly, she saw something hiding behind the bushes.
It was small, shiny, and had tiny wings.
When she got closer, she saw a baby dragon!

“Oh no, are you lost?” Lila asked kindly.
The little dragon looked up at Lila with big, sad eyes.
He nodded slowly and let out a tiny puff of smoke.
Lila smiled gently and said,
“Don’t worry. I’ll help you get home.”
She held out her hand, and the dragon climbed onto her shoulder.
With a flap of his shiny wings, the dragon flew into the sky.
He lifted Lila too—up, up, and away!
They flew over trees, rivers, and mountains.
Lila held on tight and looked down in wonder.
She had never flown before!
Far away, they saw a tall, misty mountain.
The dragon squeaked happily and zoomed toward it.
At the top, Lila saw a warm cave and a bigger dragon waiting.
“Is that your mom?” Lila asked.
The baby dragon nodded and gave a joyful roar.
The little dragon gave Lila a shiny blue scale from his back.
“It’s magic,” said his mom. “It brings sweet dreams.”
Lila waved goodbye and hugged her new friend.
Then the dragon gently flew her back home.
That night, Lila placed the glowing dragon scale beside her bed.
It sparkled softly like a star.
She closed her eyes, smiling.
In her dreams, she flew with dragons once again—
soaring through clouds, laughing, and feeling free.
Moral: Helping others can bring magic into your life.
